    The Biden administration’s plan, released in November 2021, calls for using existing USDA programs to encourage manure management practices that reduce methane emissions. Agriculture provisions in the plan are found on pages 11-12.

  • Rural Development Energy Programs (USDA)
    Programs authorized by the Agricultural Act of 2014 that offer funding to complete energy audits, provide renewable energy development assistance, make energy efficiency improvements and install renewable energy systems. USDA Rural Development is at the forefront of renewable energy financing, with options including grants, guaranteed loans and payments.
