TRAVEL & LODGING FAQs
RNG COALITION has a room block offering a special rate to RNG Conference attendees. Post registration, you will receive an email with room block details. Register for RNG Conference and reserve your lodging - space is limited!
*Group rate is only available on contracted nights; shoulder nights may be added based on availability. Room Block reservations are contingent upon maintaining an active event registration. Cancellations of event registration may result in the forfeiture of the room reservation and could incur penalties or fees.

Registration is required for entry/participation of the RNG CONFERENCE program and Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort.
Badges will be checked for entry into the resort.

RNG CONFERENCE final program will be available approximately 30 days prior to event start.
Please check the RNG CONFERENCE Schedule periodically for program updates.
This will also be available in the RNG Conference Mobile App upon release.

The RNG COALITION Mobile App is currently live in the App Store for both iOS & Android users.
While we continue to grow our RNG COALITION hub, registrants may access COALITION Events at any time provided the event app has been released (approx. 30 days prior to event start - one year post event to continue networking).
There, you'll be able to connect via email, chat and even invite other attendees to meetup!
Communication via the app ensures compliance with data security regulations.

Follow the below steps for successful access:
Search RNG COALITION in your app store > download app, tap "Get"
"Allow" notifications to stay informed throughout the event
Select "RNG CONFERENCE" (avail approx. 30 days prior to event start)
Enter your work email > "agree" to the Privacy Policy > log in
Be sure to update your profile and toggle ""show my email on my profile"" to on.

Each registered attendee will receive one (1) official event badge. Badges are non-transferable and must be worn at all times while attending offical event activities, including RNG CONFERENCE networking functions, and RNG CONFERENCE social events.

Your RNG CONFERENCE badge is required for entry and must be picked up on-site. Please have your proof of registration in hand.

Badge reprints may be issued only in the event of loss, damage, or a verified registration correction, at the discretion of event management.
A valid government-issued photo ID is required to request a reprint
Issuance of a reprinted badge will automatically invalidate the original badge
Event management reserves the right to limit the number of reprints issued per registrant
A badge reprint fee of $25 will apply to all approved reprints due to loss
Name, title or company corrections must be submitted prior to badge printing deadlines. Onsite corrections may be accommodated at the discretion of event management and may be subject to a reprint fee.

Badge sharing, duplication, resale, or transfer to another individual is strictly prohibited.
Violations may result in:
Immediate badge confiscation
Removal from the event without a refund
Disqualification of future event registration

Free Wi-Fi is available in common areas of the hotel and Wi-Fi may be purchased, individually from your laptop or smart phone, in meeting areas.

We provide two designated rooms for meetings - first come first serve - with tables and chairs.
There are also many seating areas around the resort for impromptu meetings.
All private rooms are designated to our top tier Hosts.

CONFERENCE MEETINGS: Dress for the RNG Conference is business casual (coats & ties optional). We recommend you wear whatever is most comfortable for you. Since temperatures can vary in meeting areas and in Dana Point, consider bringing a light jacket, sweater or scarf. Orange County in December is beautiful but rain is always possible. Check the weather before packing for travel.
GOLF CLASSIC / DOLPHIN & WHALE WATCHING CHARTER: If you have registered for the conference's annual RNG Golf Classic, or Dolphin & Whale Watching excursion, please check the weather in advance and ensure that you pack appropriate attire as the course is located on the coast.
GOLF: Collared shirts, and soft spikes are required in accordance with golf course rules. Denim and metal spikes are not allowed. Golf Classic will be rain or shine. Green fees, golf carts, balls, tees, divot repair tools, towels are included with Golf Registration.

No. In order to maintain the integrity and exclusivity of attending the conference in person, we do not provide session recordings post conference.

Registration Pricing Policy
Registration fees are subject to change based on applicable Early, Standard, and Late registration pricing tiers. If a registration is canceled/refunded, any subsequent re-registration will be processed at the registration rate in effect at the time of re-registration, regardless of any prior pricing paid.
Transfers and Change Requests
Registration transfers to another individual within the same organization are permitted. All registration transfers and change requests must be submitted via email to Events@RNGCoalition.com. *Phone cancellations will not be accepted.
Include the transferee’s first and last name, company name, title/role, and work email address.
When applicable, if a Member registration is transferred to a Non-Member, the difference in registration fees must be paid in full in order to complete the transfer.
See your activity ticket or activity FAQ for processes surrounding activity transfers.
General Admission Registration Cancellation Deadlines and Refunds
General admission only; excludes Host, Sponsors
Cancellations for standard registration types must be in writing: Please email Events@RNGCoalition.com *Phone cancellations will not be accepted.
Advanced Notice = Thirty (30) days or more prior to the start of the event: Receive 100% refund of the registered amount, less a $100.00 administrative fee.
Late Notice & No Shows = Cancellations received fewer than thirty (30) days prior to the start of the event, including event no-shows are non-refundable; no credit will be issued.
Final Sale and Non-Refundable Registrations
All registration types purchased during the Final Sale period—defined as thirty (30) days or fewer prior to the event start date—are non-refundable under any circumstances.
All golf registrations and activity add-ons (e.g. Golf, Charters, Tours, and similar activities) are Final Sale regardless of purchase date.
No refunds, credits or rollovers will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or unused registrations under any circumstances.

Registration for the Golf Networking Event can be purchased as an add-on ticket just before final check-out upon registration.
If you decide post-registration to participate, you may purchase it by logging in to the COALITION Community Portal > RNG CONFERENCE > Manage My Registration > select "Purchase New Session" > select Golf Classic Registration > Check-Out.

All golf registrants will receive an email approx. two (2) weeks prior to the golf outing that provides a list of players with action steps to submit your pairing preference as well as an option to reserve rental clubs.

All Golf Classic registrants will receive a request for pairing preferences via email approx. two-weeks prior to the event date with a list of Golf Participants as well as a form link to submit preferences. Be sure to fill this out asap.

Yes, anyone without a preference will be paired with another group as thoughtfully as possible.

Nearer to the event date, all registered golf participants will receive the final pairings list via email.

We expect over 100 participants at least this year. If the RNG CONFERENCE Golf Classic has sold out, please email the COALITION Events Team to be placed on a waitlist.

There is no limit to the number of people in your organization. However, the Golf event has limited capacity and is reserved on a first-come first served basis.

Yes, there a multiple activations, several competitions and prizes to be announced closer to the Tournament date for all who are registered.

Food and beverage will be provided on the course.

Courtesy tram to and from the course departs the hotel just outside the main lobby entrance.

Every player must have a set of golf clubs and a golf bag. Sharing of clubs is not permitted. Rental clubs are available. Proper attire is required for all players on the course and practice facility. Tee shirts, tank tops, halter tops, blue jeans, cutoffs, sweatpants, tennis or other athletic shorts and bathing suits are not permitted. For men, shirts with collars and sleeves, slacks, and golf shorts with an appropriate inseam such as Bermuda shorts are considered proper attire. Only soft spiked or spike less golf shoes or other approved shoes shall be worn on the golf course and practice areas. Rental shoes are available.
No personal coolers are allowed on the premises.
*Players shall observe the rules of golf etiquette as adopted by the USGA Rules of Golf at all times.

Once a golfer is removed from a foursome, that slot is released and a new player will be assigned.
If a registration has been cancelled and you later wish to send a substitute, you must request reinstatement by email prior to the event close date. Placement will be accommodated where space allows.
Day-of reinstatements/substitutions are not guaranteed however you may check in with RNG COALITION staff at the course - subject to course/foursome availability.
Final Sale and Non-Refundable Registrations
All golf registrations and activity add-ons (i.e., Golf, Charters, Tours, and similar activities) are Final Sale regardless of purchase date.
No refunds, credits or rollovers will be issued for cancellations, no-shows, or unused registrations under any circumstances.
DOLPHIN & WHALE WATCHING FAQs

While it can be warm when the sun is out, please note temps will lower as the day goes on. We recommend wearing a hat or beannie, sunglasses, sunscreen and a warm jacket.

Beverages and light snacks will be provided on board.

We cannot guarantee Dolphin or Whale sightings - but we do think you will have a great time networking at sea regardless!

Gray whales are coastal navigators, so we usually travel about a mile offshore. The same is generally true for blue whales. The boat does have a range of up to 7 miles if needed.

The Marine Mammal Protection Act requires that we stay 100 yards away from the whales, but some may swim right up to the boat!
Dolphins usually come very close, but we do not touch, swim with, or feed the wildlife.

The COALITION limits this tour to ages 10 and up. Registration and Liability Release required.

If you would like to come whale watching with us in a wheelchair, please contact us and we will make arrangements to accommodate you.

Yes, there is a marine head on board.

There is limited shade seating and awnings are available.

We do run in light rain, but if it becomes extremely windy, we might have to cancel the trip for safety reasons. If the trip has already left the dock and conditions become unsafe, we will issue a “whale check” that will allow you to come back another time for another cruise!
