Hexagon Agility Launches Pioneer Clean Fleet Solutions for Low-Carbon Truck Leasing

Hexagon Agility has partnered with Clean Energy Fuels Corp. and Cummins Inc. to launch Pioneer Clean Fleet Solutions, the first company dedicated to leasing low-carbon heavy-duty commercial vehicles in North America. This initiative aims to simplify the transition to natural gas by offering comprehensive leasing packages, thereby promoting the adoption of natural gas trucks as a sustainable alternative to diesel. Pioneer CFS will operate independently, leveraging Hexagon Agility’s expertise and network to provide fuel systems, mobile refueling, and aftermarket solutions, with early deployments expected soon.

UC Riverside Study Forecasts Most Heavy-Duty Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) Emissions Reductions Will Come from Improved Internal Combustion Engines, Regardless of EV Adoption

A May 2025 study published by a team of researchers from University of California, Riverside (UCR) shows outsized emissions reduction effects of replacing older heavy-duty diesel engines with new diesel or natural gas models, regardless of EV adoption. The study, “The impacts of improving heavy-duty internal combustion engine technology on reducing NOx emissions inventories going into the future,” is California-specific in terms of projected fleet composition and toxic nitrogen oxides (NOx) emissions through 2050, but the implications are valid nationwide.

BerQ RNG Divests Two Landfill-RNG Development Projects in Kentucky and New York 

BerQ RNG ("BerQ"), a leading developer of renewable natural gas (RNG) projects, announced it has completed the sale of two landfill-gas-to-RNG projects. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The first project located at the West Daviess County Landfill in Owensboro, Kentucky is near completion and will be fully operational before the end of the year. The second project located at the Oneida-Herkimer Regional Landfill in Boonville, New York is currently in development. Together, these projects will capture and refine landfill gas into pipeline-quality RNG, significantly reducing methane emissions and contributing to decarbonization in the transportation and energy sectors.

Anaergia Announces Agreement to Provide EPC and O&M Services for Project in Riverside, California

Anaergia Inc. (“Anaergia”, the “Company”, “us”, or “our”) (TSX: ANRG) (OTCQX:ANRGF), announced today that its subsidiary has signed an agreement to advance a pivotal renewable natural gas (“RNG”) infrastructure project in the City of Riverside, California. Under this agreement, and subject to certain conditions precedent to financial closing and funding, Anaergia’s development-stage project asset, Riverside Bioenergy Facility, LLC (“RivBF”), will be sold to a developer with institutional investor funding. RivBF currently has a lease with the City of Riverside that provides for, upon approval of the parties, constructing organic waste-to-RNG infrastructure at the Riverside Water Quality Control Plant (“RWQCP”).

Acorn Bioenergy Launches Winchester’s First Biomethane Facility to Heat Homes and Boost Farm Resilience

Acorn Bioenergy, which is expected to become the UK’s leading producer of biomethane and green CO₂, has launched Winchester’s first renewable anaerobic digestion (AD) facility at Three Maids Hill.

Now fully operational and supplying renewable gas to the national grid, the plant was officially opened at a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero (DESNZ), Winchester City Council Leader Councillor Martin Tod, local stakeholders, politicians and partner farmers.

The “Let Green Gas Count” campaign, coordinated by a coalition of eight organisations, including the European Biogas Association, has published High-Level Recommendations on the treatment of low-carbon gases in corporate greenhouse gas reporting.



Launched in February 2025, “Let Green Gas Count” is an industry-led campaign calling for clarity around market instruments for renewable gaseous fuels in the Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Protocol
