Schroders Greencoat Acquires Dutch Biomethane Platform APF Energy from SWEN Capital Partners

Schroders Capital’s renewable infrastructure arm, Schroders Greencoat, has acquired 100% of APF Energy — a Netherlands-based biomethane platform — from SWEN Capital Partners and APF BV. The platform comprises six assets, including three operational sites, signaling continued institutional investor appetite for renewable natural gas as a scalable, low-carbon piece of Europe’s decarbonization mix.
