WELTEC BIOPOWER and AGRIPOWER France Extend Their Partnership
German company WELTEC BIOPOWER GmbH and its French partner AGRIPOWER France can look back on almost 15 years of successful cooperation. During this period, the two biogas specialists have jointly completed more than 30 plant projects in France, including references such as Agrigaz Vire and SOBER 1 & 2 for the agro-industrial company BRETS. This successful partnership has now been extended. The partners will be represented with a joint stand at the BIO360 trade fair in Nantes on 11 and 12 February.
Lane County and EPUD Select Waga Energy for Oregon LFG-to-RNG Project
In the United States (US), Lane County, in partnership with Emerald People’s Utility District (EPUD) in Oregon has selected Waga Energy Inc., a subsidiary of France-headed gas cleaning technology provider Waga Energy Group, to build, own, operate, and maintain a renewable natural gas (RNG) production unit at the Short Mountain Landfill in Eugene, Oregon.

Germany-headed biogas plant operator and technology provider EnviTec Biogas AG (EnviTec) has announced that it will supply its first EnviThan biogas upgrading unit to a biogas project in Lithuania.

New Mexico’s Environmental Improvement Board voted on Thursday to approve rulemaking for the state’s Clean Transportation Fuel Program after an extensive public hearing process. With the new rules, the regulator threaded the needle between fuel producers eager for a boost to biogas produced on farms and environmental advocates concerned about concentrated animal operations.

American Power Group Corporation (OTC Pink:APGI) the leading U.S. based dual fuel diesel engine conversion technology company is pleased to announce it has received approval from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ("EPA") to convert Cummins X15 heavy-duty diesel engine model years 2018-2023 to APG's dual fuel solution. APG now has a continuous set of EPA HD IAV Cummins 14.9L ISX and X15 approvals for model years 2005 through 2023. We have also requested EPA to extend the approval to include engine model year 2024 given the functional similarities with model year 2023.
Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Outlook: 2026-2030
The U.S. renewable natural gas (RNG) market is at an inflection point. Exponential growth, both in terms of the number of operating projects and the amount of fuel produced over the past seven years, has created a situation where supply is outpacing demand, at least in the short term, putting pressure on prices. But over the longer term, demand is expected to grow faster than supply, tightening the market and improving conditions for producers.

This milestone reflects Viridi’s ability to monetize Section 48 tax credits to accelerate investment in domestic renewable energy infrastructure. Proceeds from the ITC transaction support Viridi’s strategy to capture landfill methane, upgrade it to pipeline-quality RNG, and deliver measurable economic and environmental benefits to local communities—while supplying low-carbon fuel attributes that support the U.S. transportation market.
