South Jersey Celebrates Launch of Landmark Renewable Natural Gas Project with ACUA

A major step forward for clean energy arrived in South Jersey this week as SJI and OPAL Fuels celebrated the grand opening of their new Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) Project in partnership with the Atlantic County Utilities Authority (ACUA) in Egg Harbor Township. The initiative, which officially marked its ribbon-cutting on October 23, 2025, represents a first-of-its-kind collaboration to deliver RNG directly into the South Jersey Gas pipeline network, providing local homes and businesses with a renewable and lower-carbon energy option.

Center for Resource Solutions (CRS) is pleased to announce an important update to the Green-e® Renewable Fuels Standard. After more than five years of stakeholder engagement and extensive scientific review with input from environmental nonprofits and industry experts, CRS, with approval from the Green-e® Governance Board, has finalized a set of strict requirements that allows for exemplary concentrated animal feeding operations (CAFOs) as a permissible type of biomethane production facility under the Green-e® Renewable Fuels Standard.

Generate Capital Secures C$60m for Anaerobic Digestion Portfolio

Generate Capital, PBC (Generate), a leading sustainable infrastructure investment firm, has announced the closing of a C$60 million (£34 million / €41 million) inaugural financing deal with Fiera Infrastructure Private Debt.
