Aemetis: Provides Update on Federal Policies in the United States and Operations in India
Aemetis, Inc., a renewable natural gas and renewable fuels company, today provided an update on the impact of various federal policies in the United States and operations at the Aemetis biodiesel plant in India.
On January 20, 2025, President Trump declared a "National Energy Emergency" via executive order that requires the EPA to consider the use of emergency fuel waivers to allow year-round sale of gasoline containing 15% ethanol, referred to as "E15." Aemetis is the largest ethanol producer in California. An annual increase in demand for ethanol should bolster ethanol blending into gasoline and significantly reduce ethanol inventories nationwide.

The Inflation Reduction Act extended Sec. 48 ITC through December 31, 2024, to support the deployment of certain clean energy technologies. However, the Department of Treasury’s final rulemaking was not released until December 4, 2024–27 days before the expiration of the tax credit.
Ivys Announces a Strategic Partnership With Ausime Energie for a Biomethanization Project in Quebec
Ivys Adsorption Inc., an innovative company specializing in biogas gas upgrading, is proud to announce a strategic partnership with Ausime Énergie to support the development of a biomethanization center in Hebertville, Quebec. Once completed, the center will produce renewable natural gas (RNG) for Quebec's natural gas distribution network.
This project signifies a vital advance in Quebec's energy transition, merging technological innovation with environmental commitment. The biomethanization project in Hebertville, led by Ausime Energie, aims to convert organic materials mainly coming from agricultural waste into renewable natural gas, providing a sustainable solution to meet energy demands while reducing greenhouse gas emissions. This project aligns with the goals of the Quebec government to substitute 10% of the fossil-based natural gas currently consumed in the province with renewable natural gas (RNG) by 2030. The RNG Ausime Energie Hebertville project represents nearly 2,000 homes in terms of energy consumption.
