Clean Energy Closes $30.7 Million Tax Credit Sale from its RNG Portfolio
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. announced that it has completed the sale of $30.7 million in federal tax credits generated by seven of its renewable natural gas (RNG) production facilities. The sale marks Clean Energy's fourth successful transaction monetizing credits from its RNG projects.
The largest credit in the transaction is the $26 million investment tax credit (ITC) tied to South Fork Dairy, Clean Energy's RNG facility in Dimmit, Texas, which began producing RNG in 2025.
