Montauk Commissions AG Waste-to-Energy Facility
Pittsburgh-based Montauk Renewables Inc. and its subsidiary Montauk Renewables Ag LLC have held a ceremony to celebrate the official opening of the company’s Turkey, North Carolina, swine waste-to-energy facility.
Montauk says the project represents a $200 million capital investment and a commitment to rural Samspon County, North Carolina.
At the ceremony, civic officials from that county were joined by Montauk CEO Sean McClain other and members of the company’s board of directors.
