HASI Announces Investment in Wastewater Infrastructure Facility

HASI, a leading investor in sustainable infrastructure assets, and Burnham, a developer, owner, and operator of wastewater treatment and reuse infrastructure, today announced the closing of a structured equity investment in the Pasco Resource Recovery Center (“Pasco Center”), a wastewater treatment and reuse facility serving the City of Pasco in Washington State.

Developed, owned, and operated by Burnham, the Pasco Center provides wastewater treatment and reuse services for seven local industrial food-processing plants. The facility uses anaerobic digestion to break down organic matter in wastewater and has the capacity to recycle more than one billion gallons of water annually for agricultural irrigation.
