Clean Energy Grows Canadian Fueling Network as More Fleets Switch to Natural Gas
Clean Energy Fuels Corp. announced a wave of new fueling and maintenance agreements across Alberta and British Columbia, as trucking, logistics, refuse and oilfield service fleets continue adopting natural gas vehicles. Done in partnership with Tourmaline, the expansion adds new CNG stations in Grande Prairie and Chilliwack and is being driven partly by growing confidence in Cummins’ newer heavy-duty natural gas engine. Fleet operators pointed to lower fuel costs and reduced emissions as key motivators, with several companies committing to dozens of additional natural gas trucks in the coming months.
