Waitrose Is 'First UK Retailer' To Implement RNG-Powered Tractors

Waitrose is the first UK retailer to use renewable natural gas (RNG) to power tractors at its farm, in what it described as an industry-leading move.

In 2021, the company announced it will use its Leckford Estate farm in Hampshire, England, to facilitate change by experimenting with a variety of environment-friendly agricultural techniques.
