Will CARB Save Funding for Dairy Digesters?

Tulare and Kings counties in California used to be combined. While they are no longer governed by the same jurisdiction, they have plenty in common.

In both counties milk is the top money maker driving the economy. Dairies in both counties have moved to install manure digesters to capture methane emissions in an effort to fight climate change and help clean the air. Facing both the carrot and the stick, dairies must cut emissions by law but have been offered incentives to do so.
