Certarus, Caterpillar to Explore Hydrogen Solutions with MoU

Certarus and Caterpillar will work together to advance the use of lower carbon fuels which includes conventional and renewable natural gas in addition to hydrogen.

This aim will be explored with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Monday (26th April) between Certarus and one of the world’s leading manufacturers of construction and mining equipment, Caterpillar.

Ultimately this could see hydrogen solutions integrated into various industries with Caterpillar providing equipment for mining and construction sites, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives.

Curtis Philipon, CEO of Certarus, said, “Together we will develop the tools to enable commercial customers to reduce their carbon intensity and achieve environmental and economic benefits.
