Mr. Lamb will discuss the importance of staff training for effective and safe landfill gas (LFG) collection system (GCS), and provide highlights on best practices for GCS design, installation and O&M in LMOP’s Project Development Handbook. Ms. Neff will discuss Loci Control’s technology which monitors and controls the LFG collection process, automatically tuning each collection well to maximize methane collection. Mr. Messics will share how Loci’s technology was chosen and implemented at the McCommas Bluff Landfill, one of the first adopters of automated tuning technology.
