California Air Resources Board (ARB) will host the Dairy and Livestock Working Group Subgroup #2 (Fostering Markets for Digester Projects). The meeting goals include consensus on mission statements, deliverables, ground rules, initial work assignments and upcoming meeting schedules to facilitate the development of measures to reduce dairy and livestock emissions pursuant to RNG Coalition supported SB 1383 (2016). SB 1383, among other provisions, requires ARB to work with a broad range of stakeholders to identify and address technical, market, regulatory and other challenges and barriers to the development of dairy methane emissions reduction projects in California.
