As a Senior Solutions Development Engineer, you will be responsible in the development of a standard design of renewable natural gas units and processing equipment. Electrical Engineer

This position’s primary focus will be to design the latest state-of-the-art gas processing facilities within the renewable energy sector. The electrical engineer will work alongside VisionRNG project managers to serve as the subject matter expert for the electrical design of VisionRNG capital projects. The position will assist the VisionRNG infrastructure planning team with early scope development of project power needs and identification of viable sources. This role will require frequent travel to project sites in design development and active construction, working with local utilities and VisionRNG contractors to supply low and medium voltage power distribution at VisionRNG facilities.

This position’s primary focus will be to support our Project Execution, Finance and Development teams. This individual will directly report to the Director of Engineering and partner with project managers, finance, and development teams.

Project Manager

This position’s primary responsibility is overall management of Engineering, Procurement and Construction on LFG to RNG projects. The PM will work with the development team in areas such as permitting, optimization of layouts, development of engineering and construction contracts, interaction with end users and ensuring the projects meet safety, schedule and cost requirements. Prospective candidates should have a minimum of 5 years experience in Project Management of projects of $30M or greater value. Oil and gas experience is a strong preference with a background in contract, cost and schedule management as well as change management.

Candidate should have strong inter-personal skills and be able to lead a team and have the ability to multi-task as they will have multiple projects to oversee. Additional requirements include strong written and spoken communication skills, proactive problem-solving skills, ability to travel +/-30-50% of the time to sites.

Vision RNG is seeking a Field Safety Coordinator to join our team. As a Field Safety Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our RNG operations. You will be responsible for implementing, monitoring safety programs and procedures, providing safety related training to employees to create a safe work environment and monitor contractor compliance.

RNG Project Manager (Field)

The Project Manager role focuses on managing Engineering, Procurement, and Construction activities for projects related to converting landfill gas (LFG) to renewable natural gas (RNG). The Project Manager will work with the development team on permitting, layout optimization, contract development, and interaction with end users. Candidates should have at least 5 years of project management experience with projects valued at $30M or more, preferably in the oil & gas and sector. Strong interpersonal skills, leadership abilities, multitasking capabilities, and the willingness to travel to project sites are required. Key responsibilities include leading project teams, ensuring safety compliance, managing project budgets and schedules, overseeing contracts and procurement, addressing execution issues, and building relationships with stakeholders.

Requirements include B.S. degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred, ability to travel with overnight stay 30-50%.  Valid driver’s license with clean driving record required.

Plant Operator

The plant operator’s primary focus will be the safe and reliable operation of a renewable natural gas (RNG) plant. The plant operator will ensure communications are maintained between plant personnel and local landfill staff. They will support plant operations, construction and well field tuning.

Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) operational tasks such as interfacing with a SCADA/HMI system; performing analytical tests; technical maintenance work to support plant operations.

There are 3 levels to our maintenance technician roles at our Denmark plant operating at various levels. Maintenance technicians are responsible for executing preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on equipment and systems associated with production, including but not limited to compressors, pumps, valves, instrumentation, and other related equipment at the plant as well as at our partner farms.

Rolling Schedule

  • 4 days on, 4 days off then repeat

  • 12-hour day or night shift

Project Developer is a key role at BerQ RNG and will have responsibility for project success factors including technical and financial performance as measured by internal rates of return. The successful candidate will join a collaborative and entrepreneurial team and will be exposed to all aspects of the project development life cycle. As the Project Developer, you will provide timely support for the business and project development for renewable natural gas (RNG) opportunities in the early phase of development. You will actively communicate and serve as contact person for external prospects, farmers, consultants, permitting authorities, utility companies, and grant making agencies. You will communicate internally with cross-functional departments in support of the diligence and investigation of prospective development opportunities for anaerobic digesters, and landfill methane projects. The position will report directly to the Executive Vice President of Development, and will work closely with corporate counsel, CFO/controller, project managers and financial analysts in leading projects through development.

Burns & McDonnell is looking for a motivated and collaborative Project Engineer to support our growing Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) practice. This individual is expected to have experience with biogas processing and upgrading systems. Burns & McDonnell’s RNG practice focuses on providing exemplary service to various utility, municipal, energy, and industrial clients. Typical assignments include working with multi-disciplinary teams in conducting feasibility studies, due diligence assessments, development of preliminary engineering packages, detailed design, and construction of significant RNG assets for our clients.
