The Coalition's Model Legislation working group meets initially prior to the beginning of a respective State's scheduled Legislative Session to consider whether or not the introduction of industry-backed legislation is necessary, should be supported, opposed or otherwise prioritized for industry surveillance. The Model Legislation Working Group is an outgrowth of the Coalition's AB 1900 Implementation Working Group, which successfully spear-headed the legislative passage of AB 1900 in 2011-2012.
